Wednesday on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," Matthew McConaughey stops by and Nicole Kidman makes a surprise appearance.
McConaughey, star of the animated film “Sing,” talks about the role and how it gives him more clout with his children since they're too young to see him in most of his other roles. “Sing” hits theaters on Dec. 21.
He also talks about his upcoming film “Gold” and the weight he had to gain for his role. His family called him “Captain Fun” because every night was pizza night while he was filming.
Kidman chats with DeGeneres about her plans for the holidays with husband Keith Urban and kids in Australia. She also received a Golden Globe nomination for her supporting role in the film, “Lion.”
