Nicole Eggert told Megyn Kelly Tuesday that her "Charles in Charge" co-star Scott Baio digitally penetrated her in his car in his garage when she was just 14 and he was 25. She says the two went on to have a consensual sexual relationship when she was 17 years old.
Eggert tweeted Saturday asking Baio about what happened in his garage when she was a minor.
“I was a willing participant to an extent. There was a lot of manipulation that went into it. It wasn’t a hold me down rape me situation, but I was 17,” the actress, who later starred on “Baywatch,” explained during an interview with Kelly.
On Monday, Baio denied the claim in a 16-minute Facebook Live video saying that he was being falsely accused of inappropriately touching and having intercourse with her when she was a minor. Baio said he and Eggert had a consensual relationship after she turned 18.
"Charles in Charge," which aired from 1984 through 1990, was a sitcom about a college student who worked as a family's live-in housekeeper.
